Tangier to Marrakech Motorcycle Tour

Day 1 — Tangier to Chefchaouen · approximately 115 km

Collect the motorcycle in Tangier and enjoy a relaxed first ride through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Explore the medina, kasbah, Ras El Maa and nearby mountain viewpoints.

Day 2 — Chefchaouen to Fes · approximately 200 km

Ride through the Rif countryside to Fes. Visit Fes el Bali, Bab Boujloud, the traditional tanneries and the historic medina.

Day 3 — Fes, Ifrane, Azrou and Midelt · approximately 220 km

Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and Azrou, with cedar forests and mountain roads along the way, before reaching Midelt.

Day 4 — Midelt, Ziz Valley and Merzouga · approximately 270 km

Ride via Errachidia, the Ziz Gorge and palm-filled Ziz Valley, continuing through Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga and the edge of Erg Chebbi.

Day 5 — Merzouga and Erg Chebbi · exploration day

Take a rest day to discover Khamlia village, Rissani and the Sahara sunset. Optional camel or 4×4 excursions can be arranged separately. Motorcycles may only be ridden on routes authorized by OXBikers: no dune riding or prohibited terrain.

Day 6 — Merzouga, Tinghir and Todra Gorge · approximately 200 km

Travel west through desert landscapes and Tinejdad to the Tinghir oasis, Todra Valley and the dramatic walls of Todra Gorge.

Day 7 — Todra, Dadès Gorge and Ouarzazate · approximately 190 km

Follow the valley to Boumalne Dadès and the famous Dadès hairpin road, then pass through the Valley of Roses and Kelaat M'Gouna before arriving in Ouarzazate.

Day 8 — Ouarzazate and Aït Ben Haddou

Enjoy a relaxed sightseeing ride to the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou. Depending on opening times, visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate.

Day 9 — Ouarzazate, Tizi n'Tichka and Marrakech · approximately 200 km

Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka, stopping at mountain viewpoints and traditional villages before descending to Marrakech. Mountain access and the exact route remain subject to weather, road works and local conditions.

Day 10 — Marrakech · motorcycle return

Return the motorcycle. Depending on your departure schedule, explore Jemaa el-Fna, the medina, souks, Koutoubia or Menara Gardens.

Distances, roads, hotels and stages may be adjusted according to weather, road conditions, motorcycle availability and operational requirements. Motorcycles must remain on routes authorized by OXBikers; dunes and prohibited terrain are excluded.
