Ride from Agadir to Tafraoute through changing Anti-Atlas landscapes, mountain bends and quieter southern roads.
The usual route is approximately 165 to 180 km depending on the selected roads. Allow around four hours of riding without long stops, and more time for viewpoints, villages and changing mountain conditions.
Most of the route is paved, with sustained bends and elevation changes as you enter the Anti-Atlas. Roadworks, weather and local traffic can affect timing, so daily planning should remain flexible.
Tiznit is a practical stop for fuel and supplies. Refill before quieter mountain sections and confirm fuel range if your itinerary continues south or uses secondary roads.
A Himalayan 450, CFMOTO 450MT, Tenere 700 or V-Strom 800DE can work well depending on rider experience and luggage. A one-night stay in Tafraoute creates a more relaxed two-day return or continuation south.
